IntelligentPeople.com is a new online dating and networking community that gives intelligent people an opportunity to meet and form relationships, regardless of location, education and social status.IntelligentPeople.com is intended for people with an IQ app. in the top 15% of the population. In comparison, you must have an IQ in the top 2% of the population to become a member of Mensa. People with an IQ in the top 15%, are said to be "highly intelligent". Most often, highly intelligent people communicate and interact best with other intelligent people. IntelligentPeople.com was created on the basis of that fact.
How do I become a member?
To become a member of IntelligentPeople.com, you will have to pass our IQ test required for admission. You may take the IQ test by pressing the join link at the front page. At the sign-up page, you must enter your name and email address. Following sign up, you will automatically receive an activation code in your inbox, and be able to start the IQ test. Please note that you can only sign up to take the test twice and only use each activation code once. This ensures that only people, who actually can pass the IQ test, become members of IntelligentPeople.com.About the IQ test
When people talk about intelligence, they most often refer to the logical intelligence, which can be described as the ability to reason, either deductively or inductively and to recognize and manipulate abstract patterns and relationships. Some say that there are other forms of intelligence, such as musical or emotional intelligence. Although it is undoubtedly true that some people have unusual musical or social abilities, these forms of intelligence are difficult to measure and the valuation of these intelligences tends to be subjective. The IQ test required for admission to IntelligentPeople.com, measures only the logical intelligence.The IQ test consists of a series of problems, where you see 8 images in a frame, and your task is to find the 9th image missing in the frame among 8 other images under the frame. The IQ test designed to be culture fair, meaning it will test intelligence while minimizing cultural or educational biases. Other IQ tests which consist of mathematical or linguistic problems will favor people who have years of education behind them, and education does not equal actual intelligence.
The images in our IQ test are in black and white, so that the measure of intelligence is not affected by whether or not the person taking the test is colorblind.
You will not learn your exact IQ after finishing the test, and the correct answers will not be revealed.
